How It Works

  • How much do aluminium electric gates cost?

  • What is the difference between swing and sliding aluminium gates?

    Swing gates open on hinges and need clear space in front of or behind the gate leaf. Sliding gates move sideways along a ground track or cantilever system and suit driveways where swing clearance is limited. The site survey confirms which works for your entrance.

  • What happens if I delay replacing a sticking or sagging gate?

    A gate that binds or sags puts uneven load on the motor and hinges. Left unchecked, that stress can damage the operator and distort the gate frame, turning a straightforward replacement into a job that also needs new posts or groundwork.

  • Are automated aluminium gates covered by safety regulations?

    Yes. Powered gates fall under the Supply of Machinery Regulations and must meet BS 13241 safety requirements. Safety edges and photocells are mandatory, and force testing must be carried out on commissioning. Every installation we arrange is specified and tested to those standards.
